When you book a casual gathering or a semi-private event you can pre-buy tokens in bulk to make it easier for your guests to play games.
A casual outing is a relaxed get together of up to 40ppl in one of a handful of prime areas carved out around the venue which serves as home base for your group. Hosts of casual gatherings can order ahead from specialized event menus or have guests order and pay for food & drinks on their own from the bar or server. For food, we do highly recommend party platters ordered in advance, however it is not required.
Semi-private or private events are a bit more exclusive (and are required for groups over 40ppl) and happen in bigger spaces that include private bar(s). For these types of events guests enjoy an open bar and hors d'oeuvres which are planned in advance.
3 hours is what the booking fee covers. If you need more time we can adjust the fee up pro-rata (must be done in advance).
No, but we highly recommend it for groups looking to eat because it ensures the most cohesive group food experience. Alternatively, when large casual gathering groups order food as individuals a la carte, the dishes come out as they are ready and not all at one time.
Platter orders are submitted via email and must be placed at least 3 days prior to your event.
We aim to be ready to serve your platters within 30 minutes of your reservation start time – however platters do not come out automatically! As soon as we get confirmation of arrival + a form of payment from your group’s host, the kitchen fires the platters. From that point it’s usually 20-30min. We don’t course platters, except for dessert, so they’ll all come out at once.
Unfortunately our TV’s are visible only and not enabled for sound. When you’re at Randolph, you are sharing the space with other guests that may not be watching the TV. We play background music to maintain a consistent vibe for all guests to enjoy.
When you book a casual gathering or a semi-private event you can pre-buy tokens in bulk to make it easier for your guests to play games.
You always have the option to buy tokens on-site, individually or in bulk, from a bartender.
If you book the entire game room side for a private event, we offer an unlimited games package. You’ll be able to select this option during the bookings process.
If you book a semi-private event or a casual gathering and you’d like to pre-buy tokens to make it easier for your guests to play games, we do offer that option (and quantity discounts too).
Feather bowling has to be booked separately. It does not automatically come with any casual gathering bookings. You can book feather bowling here
Important note: if you book a casual gathering space on the brewpub side (i.e. The Study) you should make your feather bowl reservation either before or after your casual gathering booking because walking back and forth between the game room (where feather bowling is) and the brewpub can take a minute. Alternatively, if you book a casual gathering space on the game room side (i.e. Courtside Landing), feel free to overlap your feather bowl reservation because you can easily step on and off the court from your casual gathering space.
Yes, you can walk around the venue freely and access both sides as long as we don’t have a private event going on. However, the venue is big and walking back and forth can take a minute. For example, it’s not a good idea to book a table in the brewpub and plan to featherbowl at the same time in the game room. Our recommendation instead is that you plan to eat first and play games after. You can also eat in the game room, however the tables are first come first serve and it’s mostly bar service.
Unfortunately, no. We have put a ton of thought and love into how our space looks and it’s just not decoration friendly. It can also get very busy and has lots of decoration hazards (think balloons getting sucked into fans!).
Yes, we allow outside desserts (no other outside food). It just needs to be approved and coordinated in advance. Ice cream cakes are not permitted.
We’ll gladly hold your dessert for you and provide plates and utensils so you can self-serve. We don’t serve, cut or get involved with deliveries of outside desserts …and we don’t charge any fees!
Please see our under 18 policy here.
Note: if you’re looking to host a fully private event (entire venue) and include children, inquire with our events team here to discuss in more detail.
Only service animals are allowed inside and on the rooftop. All dogs are allowed on our sidewalk patio, which is open during the warmer months, weather permitting.
You can request additional time from an on-site manager at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end time of your event. If an extension is possible, they are offered in 30 min increments. Pricing to extend is a basic pro-rata calc and is typically listed in your event agreement.
We only accommodate private and semi-private events with an open bar package.
We set up stationed hors d’oeuvres in a designated area and outfit the area with everything your guests need to self serve throughout the event. During the event planning process you’ll select items from our event hors d’oeuvres menu. These items will then be consistently replenished throughout the event (think all you can eat).
Yes to both for private events only. A DJ of your choosing can plug directly into our PA system which will be heard throughout the space. You can also send us a Spotify playlist that you’d like us to play during your event.
Generally, no. A lot of our furniture is fixed in place or extremely heavy (happens when you used reclaimed bowling lanes as a tables). But we’ll work with you to shift what we can for your event!
Yes, but we ask that you let us know before hand so that we can provide your guests with wristbands indicating that they get an open bar throughout the whole venue.

Yes, but minimally. The space already has a lot going on, so it is best to keep decorations as small personal touches to the space rather than large pieces of decor, not to mention decoration hazards (think balloons getting sucked into fans!). Make sure if you plan to decorate that you clear it with our events team during the planning process so there are no surprises.
Yes, for private events. Provided sufficient advance notice, we can provide a staffed coat check and/or a table for someone from your team to use for guest check in.
Yes, we can provide a microphone and can set up your presentation on one or multiple screens depending on which space your event is in.
Yes! You can choose from of our cocktails and rename them or have our bar team create a new cocktail for you (with ample notice)
Outside desserts are generally allowed but must be approved and coordinated in advance.
Regarding outside food we allow it for private events only on a case by case basis. Please note: outside food doesn’t change our minimum spend requirements and it has to be approved and coordinated in advance.
We do not allow outside alcohol under any circumstances (by law we cannot).
